FILING DATES REGARDING PROPOSED WIRELESS ENHANCED 911 PHASE II 
LOCATION ACCURACY AND RELIABILITY REQUIREMENTS

On September 22, 2008, the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (PSHSB) released a 
Public Notice seeking comment on proposals regarding service rules for wireless Enhanced 911 (E911) 
Phase II location accuracy and reliability requirements. The Notice was published in the Federal Register 
on September 25, 2008.1 Accordingly, interested parties must file comments on the issues raised in the 
Public Notice by October 6, 2008.  Parties interested in submitting reply comments must do so by Noon 
(12:00 PM EDT) October 14, 2008.
