THIRD FURTHER NOTICE OF PROPOSED RULEMAKING ON CREATION OF 
NATIONWIDE, INTEROPERABLE PUBLIC SAFETY BROADBAND NETWORK
WT Docket No. 06-150; PS Docket No. 06-229
On September 25, 2008, the Federal Communications Commission released a Third Further 
Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking comment on proposals regarding the creation of a nationwide, 
interoperable public safety broadband network in the 700 MHz band.1  The Third Further Notice was 
published in the Federal Register on October 3, 2008.2 Accordingly, interested parties must file 
comments on the issues raised in the Third Further Notice by November 3, 2008.  Parties interested in 
submitting reply comments must do so by November 12, 2008.
