The report includes detailed results of laboratory and field interference tests of several prototype TV band white space devices. The report also makes a number of general observations about the overall results. The Commission conducted laboratory and field tests of prototype white spaces devices as part of the above captioned rule making to consider authorizing the operation of new low power devices in the TV broadcast spectrum at locations where individual channels/frequencies are not being used for authorized services (TV white spaces) (ET Docket Nos. 04-186 and 02-380). The testing was open to the public. The test plan was initially released on January 17, 2008.
