FCC COMMENCES 2008 EEO AUDITS
On April 2, 2008, the Federal Communications Commission mailed the first of its Equal 
Employment Opportunity (EEO) audit letters for 2008 to randomly selected radio and television 
stations.  In accordance with the provisions of Sections 73.2080(f)(4) and 76.77(d) of the 
Commission’s EEO rules, the FCC is auditing the EEO programs of randomly selected broadcast 
licensees and multi-channel video programming distributors (MVPDs).  Each year, 
approximately five percent of all stations and MVPDs are selected for random EEO audits.
A list of the radio and television stations to which the audit letters were sent is attached.
