Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 08-947 April 23, 2008 PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ACTION REGION 47 (PUERTO RICO) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES TO HOLD 700 MHz REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING AND 800 MHz NPSPAC REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETINGS PR Docket No. 93-82 The Region 47 (Puerto Rico) Public Safety Regional Planning Committees will hold two consecutive planning meetings on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, beginning at 9:00 a.m., at the Bayamón Municipal Management Agency PR 2 with PR 5 in Bayamón. The agenda for the 700 MHz meeting includes: § Review and approval of the April 29, 2008 meeting agenda § Discussion of Interoperability (State Interoperability Executive Committee-SIEC) Reports § Establishment of working group activities o 700 MHz and 4.9 GHz status report o Statewide communication interoperability plan § Discussion of any new business matters, and comments § Scheduling of the next meeting Immediately following the 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meeting, the 800 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee will convene at the same location. The agenda for the 800 MHz meeting includes: § Review and approval of the April 29, 2008 meeting agenda § Discussion of old business o Update of the Region 47 applications actions o Update of the 800 MHz Nextel Rebanding § Discussion of any new business matters, and comments § Scheduling of the next meeting Both Region 47 Public Safety Regional Planning Committee meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers whose sole or principal purpose is to protect the safety of life, health, or property in Region 47 may utilize these frequencies.
