The Commission has before it a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking1 issued in response to a petition for rulemaking filed by Community Broadcasting Service (“Community Broadcasting”), the licensee WABI-DT, digital channel 19, Bangor, Maine, requesting the substitution of channel 12 for digital channel 19 at Bangor. 2. WABI-DT, Bangor, Maine is located within the Canadian coordination zone. Therefore, the Canadian government must concur with WABI-DT’s channel allotment. The Canadian government has objected to Community Broadcasting’s request to substitute channel 12 for digital channel 19 at Bangor. As a result, on June 3, 2009, Community Broadcasting filed a “Request to Dismiss Petition for Rulemaking.”2 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Petition for Rulemaking to substitute channel 12 for digital channel 19 at Bangor, Maine, filed by Community Broadcasting Service is HEREBY DISMISSED. 4.
