S2401SAT-STA-20090923-00099 E Effective Date: 11/02/2009Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Intelsat North America LLC On November 2, 2009, the Satellite Division granted the request of Intelsat North America LLC for special temporary authority to continue operating the Intelsat 706 space station at the 54.85° E.L. orbital location through December 5, 2009. Operations pursuant to this authorization shall be in accordance with conditions imposed as part of Intelsat 706's authorization to operate at this orbital location granted on March 20, 2009. On November 5, 2009, the Satellite Division granted, subject to conditions, special temporary authority to XM Radio Inc. to operate a terrestrial repeater with an Effective Isotropically Radiated Power (EIRP) of up to 2000 watts (average) in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the Tropicana Hotel, for a period of 180 days. XM Radio is authorized to operate this repeater in the 2332.5-2345 MHz frequency band, which is assigned for its exclusive use to provide Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS). SAT-STA-20091023-00112 E Effective Date: 11/05/2009Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Sirius XM Radio Inc. On November 5, 2009, the Satellite Division granted, subject to conditions, special temporary authority to Sirius XM Radio Inc. to operate an existing terrestrial repeater in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for a period of 60 days at a height six feet higher than that previously authorized by the Commission. See Sirius XM Radio Inc., Order and Authorization, IBFS File No. SAT-STA-20081027-00210 (Int’l Bur., Sept. 11, 2009). The terrestrial repeater is authorized to operate with an average Effective Isotropically Radiated Power (EIRP) of up to 1000 watts in the 2320-2332.5 MHz frequency band allocated exclusively for the Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS).
