On March 5, 2009, the Satellite Division granted, subject to conditions, special temporary authority to Skynet Satellite Corporation for a period of
30 days, commencing March 6, 2009, to conduct in-orbit testing (IOT) with un-modulated continuous-wave carriers aboard the Telstar 11N
satellite at the 37.55º W.L. orbital location.
