WIRELINE COMPETITION BUREAU ANNOUNCES NEW TUTORIAL TO ASSIST FORM 477 
FILERS; OVER 2100 FILINGS HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED AS COMPLETE TO DATE

The Wireline Competition Bureau (Bureau) announces availability of a new tutorial to assist 
filers in completing Form 477 filings.  This tutorial is part of the Bureau’s ongoing efforts to assist filers 
with the transition to the new Form 477 electronic filing system.  The tutorial provides detailed 
information on how to use the electronic filing system and was developed, in part, based on questions 
received from filers since the electronic filing system was made available online last month.  The tutorial 
is available on the Commission’s Web site at the following address: www.fcc.gov/form477.  The Bureau 
also announces that as of today, more than 2100 Form 477 filings have been submitted as complete.   
Filers have until March 16, 2009 to complete their Form 477 filings.  The Form 477 electronic 
filing system is available at www.fcc.gov/formpage.html. Facilities-based broadband providers, wired 
and wireless local telephone service providers, and interconnected VoIP service providers who are 
required to file FCC Form 477 can also find reporting instructions, systems documentation, technical 
FAQs, and other relevant information at www.fcc.gov/form477.
