Docket No. 89-97 The Region 5 (Southern California)1 800 MHz NPSPAC Public Safety Regional Planning Committee (RPC) will hold its next meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2009, beginning at 1:00 p.m., or immediately following the California Public Safety Radio Association meeting at The Old Spaghetti Factory, 111 N. Twins Oaks Valley Road, San Marcos, California. The agenda for this meeting includes: § Call to Order § Election of Officers o Chairperson o Vice-Chairperson o Recording Secretary § New Business The Region 5 800 MHz NPSPAC RPC meeting is open to the public. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal organizations eligible under Section 90.16 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 90.16, be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in planning for the use of public safety spectrum in the 800 MHz band within Region 5 should plan to attend.
