FOR NOTICE OF INQUIRY IN MEDIA OWNERSHIP PROCEEDING

On May 25, 2010, the Commission released a Notice of Inquiry (NOI) in the 2010 Quadrennial 
Regulatory Review - Review of the Broadcast Ownership Rules and Other Rules Adopted Pursuant to 
Section 202 of the Telecommunications Act of 1996.1 The Commission is seeking comment on whether 
its media ownership rules continue to serve the public interest.
Pursuant to Section 1.429(e) of the Commission’s rules, the comment and reply comment 
deadlines for the NOI are 30 days and 45 days, respectively, after publication of the NOI in the Federal 
Register.  A summary of the NOI was published in the Federal Register on June 11, 2010.2 Accordingly, 
comments will be due on or before July 12, 2010 and reply comments will be due on or before July 26, 
2010.3
