Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On June 16, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 60 days, to drift AMC-2 to the 78.95º W.L. orbital location. SES Americom is authorized to conduct Telemetry, Tracking, and Telecommand from the 78.95° W.L. orbital location using the following frequencies: 3700 MHz and 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth); 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space); and 12198 MHz (space-to-Earth). Once at the 78.95° W.L. orbital location, SES Americom is also authorized to provide fixed-satellite service using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 11700-12200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), and 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands.
