DATES ON REQUEST FOR WAIVER FILED BY THE STATE OF WYOMING TO MODIFY 
ITS PUBLIC SAFETY STATEWIDE COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM

On June 9, 2010, the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau (the Bureau) released a Public 
Notice (Wyoming Public Notice),1 seeking comment on the above-captioned modification application and 
waiver request, filed by the State of Wyoming (Wyoming) on March 9, 2009, and amended May 22, 
2009, to add three repeater sites to its statewide narrowband digital trunked radio communications system 
authorized under call sign WQJA236.2 The Bureau set June 30, 2010, as the comment date and July 12, 
2010, as the reply comment date for the Wyoming Public Notice. 
On June 15, 2010, the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau commenced the bidding for the 
auction of paging licenses (Auction 87), which include the same Channel Blocks and BEAs occupied by 
Wyoming.3
On our own motion,4 we find that an extension of the comment and reply comment dates for the 
Wyoming Public Notice is appropriate to provide interested parties that are participating in Auction 87 
additional time to file comments following the completion of the auction.  Accordingly, we extend the 
comment and reply comment dates by 30 days to July 30, 2010, and August 11, 2010, respectively, for 
the Wyoming Public Notice.
