Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On June 21, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of SES Americom, Inc. to modify its authorized orbital location for its C- and Ku-band AMC-2 space station from the 101° W.L. orbital location to the 78.95° W.L. orbital location Accordingly, SES Americom is authorized to operate AMC-2 at the 78.95° W.L. orbital location to provide Fixed-Satellite Service, including Direct-to-Home service, using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11700-12200 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. On June 18, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Sirius XM Radio Inc. to continue to provide emergency radio broadcast programming in Haiti via the Sirius FM-5 Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) space station at the 96° W.L. orbital location for a period of 180 days. S2396SAT-STA-20100412-00074 E Effective Date: 06/21/2010Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Intelsat North America LLC On June 21, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Intelsat North America LLC for special temporary authority for a period of 60 days to continue to drift its C- and Ku-band space station, Intelsat 709, to the 54.85 º E.L. orbital location. Accordingly, Intelsat is authorized to conduct Telemetry, Tracking, and Command operations with the Intelsat 709 space station to effect the drift of the Intelsat 709 space station from the 85.15º E.L. orbital location to the 54.85º E.L. orbital location using the following frequencies: 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz (left-hand circular polarization/Earth-to-space); 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz , 3952.5 MHz, and 3952.0 MHz (right-hand circular polarization/space-to-Earth).
