On July 12, 2010, the Satellite Division granted in part, with conditions, and deferred in part, the application of SES Americom, Inc., for special temporary authority. SES Americom is authorized, for a period of 60 days beginning on July 12, 2010, to conduct telemetry, tracking and telecommand necessary to drift its Ku-band space station, AMC-4, from the 101º W.L. orbital location to the 67º W.L. orbital location, and to maintain AMC-4 at the 67º W.L. orbital location upon arrival. SES Americom is authorized to conduct TT&C operations on the 6423.5 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 3700.5 MHz, 11.702 GHz and 12.198 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequencies.
