Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 10-1523 August 13, 2010 PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ANNOUNCES REGION 33 (OHIO) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES TO HOLD 700 MHZ AND 800 MHZ NPSPAC MEETINGS PR Docket No. 91-258 The Region 33 (Ohio) 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) will hold two planning meetings on Tuesday, September 14, 2010, beginning at 10:30 a.m., at the Franklin County Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, 5300 Strawberry Farms, Columbus, Ohio. The agenda for the 700 MHz meeting includes: § Review and approval of the March 11, 2009 Meeting Minutes1 § Interoperability Sub-committee Report (Robert Bill) § Technical Sub-committee Report (David Ziegler) § Implementation Sub-committee Report (Greg Wenz) § New Business o Discuss proposed amendments to the Region 33 plan. Proposed amendments will be posted on the Region 33 website at least 10 days prior to the meeting. o Election of Chairman and Vice Chairman o Other business § Schedule next meeting Immediately following the 700 MHz Public Safety RPC meeting, the 800 MHz Public Safety RPC will convene at the same location. The agenda for the 800 MHz meeting includes: § Update on Rebanding progress § Update on Regional plan review. The text of the 800 MHz NPSPAC Plan is available for review through the Region 33 website.2 Members are invited to submit proposed changes to the Chairman for posting on the website at least 10 days prior to the meeting. § New business § Other business § Schedule next meeting Both Region 33 700 MHz and 800 MHz Public Safety RPC meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 33 may utilize these frequencies. All interested parties wishing to participate in planning for the use of public safety spectrum in the 700 and 800 MHz bands within Region 33 should plan to attend.
