S2401SAT-STA-20100326-00057 E Effective Date: 07/01/2010Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Intelsat North America LLC On July 1, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat North America LLC, for a period of 60 days, to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking and telecommand necessary to drift its C- and Ku-band space station, Intelsat 706, to the 72.1° E.L. orbital location, and to provide Fixed-Satellite Service temporarily from that location. Intelsat is authorized to conduct TT&C using the following frequencies: 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3952.5 MHz, 3952.0 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz (Earth-to-space). Intelsat is also authorized to provide FSS at the 72.1° E.L. orbital location temporarily in the following frequency bands: 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 10950-11200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 11450-11700 MHz (space-to-Earth), 12500-12750 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), and 14000-14500 MHz (Earth-to-space). On September 1, 2010, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Sirius XM Radio Inc. for a period of 180 days to continue to operate two terrestrial repeaters with effective isotropically radiated power of 800 watts (average) at the Delphi Corp. plant in Kokomo, IN. Sirius XM Radio will operate one of the repeaters in the 2320-2332.5 MHz frequency band and will operate the other repeater in the 2332.5-2345 MHz frequency band. Both of these bands are assigned for the exclusive use of Sirius XM to provide Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS).
