Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 10-1814 September 24, 2010 PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ANNOUNCES REGION 25 (MONTANA) 700 MHZ PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE TO HOLD MEETING The Region 25 (Montana)1 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee (RPC) will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2010, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Holiday Inn, 5 East Baxter Lane, Bozeman, Montana. The agenda for this meeting includes: § Review of old business § Election of 700 MHz RPC Officers § Final review of 700 MHz plan structure, and submission § Subcommittee updates § All other related matters The Region 25 700 MHz Public Safety RPC meeting is open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 25 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal, and non- governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s rules, be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in planning for the use of public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz and 4.9 GHz bands within Region 25 should plan to attend.
