Media Bureau Announces Comment and Reply Comment Dates
for the LPDTV Transition Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

By this Public Notice, the Media Bureau announces that the Further Notice of Proposed 
Rulemaking and Memorandum Opinion and Order (“FNPRM”) to consider issues that need to be 
resolved to complete the low power television station digital transition1 was published in the Federal 
Register today, October 18, 2010,2 starting the pleading cycle for the LPDTV Transition FNPRM, MB 
Docket No. 10-148.  Accordingly, comments are due on Friday, December 17, 2010, and reply comments 
are due on Tuesday, January 18, 2011.3 Commenters must follow the filing instructions provided in 
Section VI.D. of the FNPRM.4
The LPDTV Transition FNPRM is available on the Commission’s website at 
http://www.fcc.gov/Daily_Releases/Daily_Business/2010/db0917/FCC-10-172A1.doc.  (Documents are
