The Audio Division issued a Notice of Proposed Rule Making in response to Petitions for Rule Making filed by Educational Media Foundation (“Petitioner”).1 The Notice proposes the allotment of FM Channels 224C2 and 232C2 at Fairbanks, Alaska, as potentially the community’s tenth and eleventh commercial FM transmission service. 2. Petitioner filed comments supporting the allotment of Channels 224C2 and 232C2 at Fairbanks. No other comments were received. 3. We find that the allotment of Channels 224C2 and 232C2 at Fairbanks, Alaska, would serve the public interest.2 The reference coordinates for Channels 224C2 and 232C2 at Fairbanks, Alaska, are 64-55-20 NL and 147-42-49 WL, with a site restriction of 9.4 km (5.9 miles) north of the community. The Government of Canada has concurred in these allotments, which are located within 320 kilometers (199 miles) of the U.S.-Canadian border. 4. The Commission will send a copy of this Report and Order in a report to be sent to Congress and the Government Accountability Office pursuant to the Congressional Review Act.3 5. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED, That effective January 3, 2011, the FM Table of Allotments, 47 C.F.R.
