Federal Communications Commission DA 10-2365 Before the Federal Communications Commission Washington, D.C. 20554 In the Matter of ) ) Amendment of Section 73.622(b), ) MB Docket No. 02-151 Table of Allotments, ) RM-10453 Digital Television Broadcast Stations. ) (Yuma, Arizona) ) ORDER (Proceeding Terminated) Adopted: December 15, 2010 Released: December 16, 2010 By the Associate Chief, Video Division, Media Bureau: 1. The Commission has before it a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking1 issued in response to a petition for rulemaking filed by Arizona Western College, requesting that the Commission amend the pre-transition DTV Table of Allotments2 to allot digital channel 24 at Yuma, Arizona. 2. The digital transition occurred on June 13, 2009.3 As the Commission explained in the Seventh Report and Order and Eighth Further Notice in MB Docket No. 87-268, the pre-transition Table of DTV Allotments was only meant to govern “DTV operations until the end of the DTV transition,” at which time the Post-Transition Table of DTV Allotments4 would “replace the existing [pre-transition] DTV Table . . ..” 5 Therefore, the pre-transition DTV Table of Allotments which Arizona Western College seeks to amend is now obsolete and this proceeding is moot.6 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that the Petition for Rulemaking filed by Arizona Western College to allot digital channel 24 at Yuma, Arizona is HEREBY DISMISSED. 4. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, That this proceeding IS TERMINATED. FEDERAL COMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION Clay C.
