On August 4, 2011, the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates and the New Jersey Division of Rate Counsel (collectively, “Consumer Advocates”) filed a motion for extension of time (“Motion”)1 to file comments and reply comments in response to a Public Notice seeking comment on aspects of certain proposals filed in the record and on additional issues that are not fully developed in the record. Under Section 1.46(a) of the Commission’s rules,4 it is the policy of the Commission that extensions of time shall not be routinely granted. We do not find that the circumstances presented here warrant granting an extension. 3. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to sections 4(i), 4(j), and 5(c) of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended, 47 U.S.C. §§ 154(i), 154(j), 155(c), section 1.46 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. § 1.46, and pursuant to the authority delegated in sections 0.91 and 0.291 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.91, 0.291, the motions for extension of time filed by the National Association of State Utility Consumer Advocates and the New Jersey Division of Rate Counsel, and by the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners are DENIED.
