S2388SAT-STA-20110520-00093 E Effective Date: 08/05/2011Granted in Part / Denied in Part Special Temporary Authority Intelsat License LLC On August 5, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for a period of 30 days to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to effect the drift of the Intelsat 702 space station from the 54.85º E.L. orbital location to the 50.0º E.L. orbital location and to maintain the space station temporarily at 50.0º E.L. using the following frequencies: 3947.5 MHz, 3948.0 MHz, 3952.5 MHz, 3952.0 MHz, 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz. Additionally, Intelsat is authorized to provide Fixed-Satellite Services during this period in the 3700-4200 MHz, 5925-6425 MHz, 10.95-11.2 GHz, 11.45-11.7 GHz, 12.5-12.75 GHz, and 14.0-14.5 GHz frequency bands after Intelsat 702 arrives at the 50.0º E.L. orbital location. These maneuvers are intended to boost Intelsat 3R from its current location of 81 W.L. to a disposal orbit with a minimum perigee altitude of 150 km above the geostationary arc. Intelsat is authorized to using the following frequencies for these operations: 4199.0 MHz (horizontal and vertical polarization) and 4198.5 MHz (horizontal and vertical) (space-to-Earth) and 6424.5 MHz (horizontal) and 5925.5 MHz (horizontal) (Earth-to-space). S2469SAT-STA-20110727-00137 E Effective Date: 08/05/2011Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Intelsat License LLC On August 5, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC for a period of 60 days to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations necessary to effect the drift of the Galaxy 26 space station from the 50.75º E.L. orbital location to the 50.0º E.L. orbital location and to maintain Galaxy 26 at 50.0º E.L. using the following frequencies: 4196.5 MHz, 4199.5 MHz , 6315.0 MHz, 4090.0 MHz, 5926.5 MHz, and 6411.0 MHz. Intelsat is also authorized to continue to provide Fixed-Satellite Services via Galaxy 26 in the Ku-band frequencies of 14.0-14.5 GHz and 11.7-12.2 GHz during the drift to the 50.0º E.L. orbital location and after Intelsat 702 arrives at the 50.0º E.L. orbital location. On July 14, 2011, Intelsat New Dawn Company, Ltd. informed the Federal Communications Commission that the Intelsat New Dawn satellite (S2751) was successfully placed into orbit at its assigned location of 32.8° E.L. and became operational at that location as of July 9, 2011, in accordance with the terms of its FCC authorization. See Letter from Susan H. Crandall, Assistant General Counsel, Intelsat Corporation, to Marlene H. Dortch, Secretary, Federal Communications Commission, dated July 14, 2011. Accordingly, the Satellite Division has determined that Intelsat New Dawn has completed the launch and operation milestone associated with the grant of its space station authorization, IBFS File Nos. SAT-LOA-20080509-00101 and SAT-MOD-20101029-00228. Accordingly, Intelsat New Dawn is no longer required to maintain the bond associated with this grant. Page 2 of 2
