Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service On August 25, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of SES Americom, Inc. to modify its authorization to operate the AMC-9 space station at the 83º W.L. orbital location in the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Specifically, SES Americom is authorized to operate the AMC-9 space station with a 0.4-degree change in the north/south orientation of the satellite's C-band reflector from the orientation previously authorized. On August 22, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 60 days, to continue to operate the AMC-4 space station at the 67º W.L. orbital location with a 0.1-degree change in the azimuth of the satellite's North American beam from the orientation previously authorized. As part of this grant, SES Americom is also authorized to operate an additional telemetry beacon with a center frequency of 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth). EchoStar is authorized to operate EchoStar 6 at 76.95° W.L. with feeder links (Earth-to-space) in the 17.3-17.8 GHz band and service links (space-to-Earth) in the 12.2-12.7 GHz band. EchoStar is also authorized to conduct on-station telemetry, tracking, and telecommand operations for EchoStar 6 at 76.95° W.L. with command links at 17.305 GHz (Earth-to-space) and telemetry and beacon links at 12.203 GHz and 12.204 GHz (space-to-Earth).
