On July 18, 2011, the Bureau released a public notice seeking comment on Cox Georgia's petition.2 Pursuant to section 54.207(c)(3) of the Commission's rules, the Bureau has 90 days from the release date of a public notice to initiate a proceeding to consider petitions to redefine the service areas of rural telephone companies.3 This notice constitutes initiation of such a proceeding for the Petition. Interested parties may file comments on or before November 11, 2011, and reply comments on or before November 28, 2011. All pleadings are to reference WC Docket No. 09-197.
