Accordingly, Intelsat is granted authority to provide Fixed-Satellite Service at the 72.1º E.L. orbital location using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.70 GHz (space-to-Earth), 12.50-12.75 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. On March 23, 2011, the Satellite Policy Branch granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Sirius XM Radio Inc., for a period of 180 days, to operate up to 1000 Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS) terrestrial repeaters on each of the Sirius XM and XM networks at power levels between 2 watts and 12,000 watts equivalent isotropically radiated power (average) at various locations throughout the United States. Repeaters will operate in both the 2320-2332.5 MHz and 2332.5-2345 MHz bands that are allocated exclusively to SDARS.
