Region 7 700 MHz RPC 2011 Schedule Friday, May 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. The agendas for the 700 MHz meetings include the following items: § Discussion of meeting minutes, and sub-committee reports § Discussion of new business/old business § Discussion of requests for frequencies scheduled by the Frequency Advisory Subcommittee § Discussion on the Plan status and any changes The Region’s Subcommittee for Frequency Advisory will also meet at the same location on the dates and times to be announced at the 700 MHz RPC meetings. The agendas for the Region’s Subcommittee meetings include the following items: § Discussion and act upon new applications for frequencies § Forward applications to the RPC for consideration with technical explanation and recommendation § Note: The FAC has the option of conducting their meetings via email. All eligible public safety providers in Region 7 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that eligible public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Administrators who are not oriented in the communications field should delegate someone with this knowledge to attend, participate, and represent their agency’s needs. All interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of public safety spectrum in the 700 MHz band within Region 7 should plan to attend.
