Suite 200 Washington, D.C. 20036 Re: Vacancy on the USAC Board of Directors Dear Chairman Talbott: On March 22, 2011, the Wireline Competition Bureau issued a public notice soliciting nominations to fill a vacancy on the Board of Directors of the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC).1 There was a vacancy on the USAC Board due to the resignation of the representative for state telecommunications regulators.2 The Commission received one nomination for this vacancy.3 Pursuant to section 54.703(c)(3) of the Commission’s rules,4 Chairman Julius Genachowski appoints the following member to serve on the USAC Board of Directors: (1) Representative for state telecommunications regulators: Hon.
