Washington, D.C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418-0500 Internet: http://www.fcc.gov TTY: 1-888-835-5322 DA 11-706 Release Date: April 18, 2011 WIRELINE COMPETITION BUREAU SEEKS COMMENT ON KODIAK AREA NATIVE ASSOCIATION REQUEST FOR REVIEW OF DECISIONS BY THE UNIVERSAL SERVICE ADMINISTRATIVE COMPANY WC Docket No. 02-60 Comment Date: May 18, 2011 Reply Comment Date: June 2, 2011 The Wireline Competition Bureau seeks comment on a petition filed by Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA), seeking reversal of Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) decisions denying rural health care universal service support for portions of certain funding requests for six KANA facilities.1 USAC denied an appeal by KANA to provide funding for amendments to Form 466 and 466- A that were made after the filing deadline.2 Therefore, KANA also requests waiver of the program’s filing deadline in order to correct errors on its FCC Forms 466 and 466-A.3 Interested parties may file comments on or before May 18, 2011, and reply comments on or before June 2, 2011. All pleadings are to reference WC Docket No. 02-60.
