Special Temporary Authority
Intelsat New Dawn Company, Ltd.
On May 27, 2011, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat New Dawn, Ltd. to operate the Intelsat
New Dawn space station at the 32.85° E.L. orbital location for a period of 30 days.  Accordingly, Intelsat New Dawn is authorized to operate the
communications payload on Intelsat New Dawn at the 32.85° E.L. orbital location in the following frequency bands:  3625-4200 MHz
(space-to-Earth), 5850-6500 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10950-11200 MHz and 11450-11700 MHz (space-to-Earth), and 14000-14500 MHz
(Earth-to-space).  Additionally, Intelsat New Dawn is authorized to operate telemetry, tracking, and telecommand  on Intelsat New Dawn both to
maintain the space station at the 32.85° E.L. orbital location during transfer of traffic from Galaxy 11 to Intelsat New Dawn, and then to effect
New Dawn's drift to its authorized location of 32.8° E.L. at the completion of traffic transfer, using the following center frequencies:  3947.5
MHz, 3950 MHz, 3952.5 MHz, 11.198 GHz, and 11.452 GHz (space-to-Earth); 6173.7 MHz and 6176.3 MHz (Earth-to-space).
