Washington, D.C. 20554 DA 12-1277 August 7, 2012 PUBLIC SAFETY AND HOMELAND SECURITY BUREAU ANNOUNCES REGION 33 (OHIO) PUBLIC SAFETY REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEES TO HOLD 700 MHZ REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING AND 800 MHZ NPSPAC REGIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY PLANNING MEETINGS PR Docket No. 91-258 The Region 33 (Ohio) Public Safety Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) will hold two planning meetings on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Beginning at 10 a.m., the 700 MHz Public Safety RPC will convene at the Holiday Inn Worthington, 7007 North High Street, Worthington, Ohio.1 The agenda for the 700 MHz meeting includes: § Call to order and attendee introductions § Recap of past year activities (Paul Mayer) § Discussion of pending applications, plan amendments, and other issues § Election of Officers (Chair and Vice-Chair) for the coming year § Subcommittee reports, new member appointments if needed § Other business § Adjourn Immediately following the 700 MHz Public Safety RPC meeting, the 800 MHz Public Safety RPC will convene at the same location. The agenda for the 800 MHz meeting includes: § Recap of past year activities § Update on rebanding § New business § Old Business § Adjourn Both Region 33 Public Safety RPC meetings are open to the public. All eligible public safety providers in Region 33 may utilize these frequencies. It is essential that eligible public safety agencies in all areas of government, including state, municipality, county, and Native American Tribal be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process.
