On June 10, 2011, Sprint Communications Company L.P. (Sprint) filed with this Commission a formal complaint against Tekstar Communications, Inc. (Tekstar) under section 208 of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (Act), 47 U.S.C. § 208.1 2. On August 16, 2012, Sprint filed a Motion to Dismiss with Prejudice, stating that the parties “have settled their dispute in a mutually satisfactory manner.”2 Sprint therefore requests that the Complaint be dismissed with prejudice.3 3. We are satisfied that granting the Motion to Dismiss will serve the public interest by encouraging parties to work privately to narrow and resolve disputed issues, which may limit or eliminate the need for litigation and the further expenditure of resources by the parties and this Commission. 4.
