The TAC is helping the Commission to continue the momentum spurred by the National Broadband Plan to maximize the use of broadband to advance national interests and create jobs. At its last meeting on Wednesday September 24, 2012, the TAC discussed its progress toward work objectives established earlier in the year and discussed initial findings, issues, and further recommendations on its 2012 work program. At its next meeting on December 10, 2012, the TAC will make its final recommendations to the Commission in the areas of PSTN legacy transition and future infrastructure, wireless security, Machine to Machine evolution, multiband devices, and receivers and spectrum. In addition, TAC members will present suggestions for future work. The next meeting of the TAC will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Commission Meeting Room, 445 12th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C. The public is invited to attend.
