Specifically, the Division granted a waiver of the cross-polar isolations requirements of Section 25.215 of the Commission's rules to permit operation of antenna beams SP20, SP32, SP52, SP67, and SP68 on EchoStar 16 with less than 30 dB cross-polarization isolation. EchoStar was also granted a waiver of the cross-polar isolation requirements of Section 25.210(i) in connection with antenna beams R02, R03, R04, R05, and R06. The Satellite Division previously authorized EchoStar 16 to operate at the 61.65º W.L. orbital location on DBS channels 3-32 using feeder links in the 17.3-17.8 GHz band (Earth-to-space) and service links in the 12.2-12.7 GHz band (space-to-Earth). S2811SAT-STA-20121022-00185 E Effective Date: 11/19/2012Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation On November 19, 2012, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority, for a period of 30 days, to EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to drift EchoStar 15 from its currently authorized orbital location of 61.65° W.L. to the 44.9° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 17.307 GHz and 17.7955 GHz (Earth-to-space); and 12.694 GHz, 12.695 GHz, 12.6965 GHz, and 12.6975 GHz (space-to-Earth).
