Washington, D.C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418-0500 Internet: http://www.fcc.gov TTY: 1-888-835-5322 DA 12-308 Release Date: February 28, 2012 COMMENT CYCLE ESTABLISHED FOR COMMENTS TO REFRESH THE RECORD REGARDING MISUSE OF INTERNET PROTOCOL RELAY SERVICE CG Docket Nos. 12-38 and 03-123 Comment Date: March 20, 2012 On February 13, 2012, the Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau (“Bureau”) released a Public Notice1 seeking to refresh the record on several issues pertaining to misuse of Internet Protocol (IP) Relay Service, including issues that were initially raised in the Further Notice of Proposed Rulemaking released by the Commission on May 8, 2006.2 The Public Notice was published in the Federal Register on February 28, 2012.3 Comments in response to the Public Notice are due on March 20, 2012. FILING REQUIREMENTS Pursuant to 47 CFR 1.415 and 1.419, interested parties may file comments on or before the date indicated above. Comments may be filed: (1) by using the Commission’s Electronic Comment Filing System (ECFS); or (2) by filing paper copies. All filings should reference the docket numbers of this proceeding, CG Docket Nos. 12-38 and 03-123. § Electronic Filers: Comments may be filed electronically using the Internet by accessing the ECFS: http://fjallfoss.fcc.gov/ecfs2/.
