Dear Chairman Talbott:
On March 26, 2012, the Wireline Competition Bureau issued a public notice' soliciting comments
on a nomination made by the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) to fill
a position on the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) Board of Directors, to represent
state telecommunications regulators.2 This position, which is currently vacant, was formerly held by
South Carolina Commissioner Randy Mitchell.3 NARUC nominated Florida Commissioner Ronald A.
Bris.4 The Commission received no comments in response to this nomination.
Pursuant to section 54.703(c)(3) of the Commission's rules,5 Chairman Julius Genachowski
appoints the following member to serve on the USAC Board of Directors:
