Federal Communications Commission Washington, D.C. 20554 August 9, 2013 DA 13-1731 Released: August 9, 2013 Convergence Entertainment and Communications, LLC 68 Grigware Road Plattsburgh, New York 12901 W17CI, Claremont, New Hampshire Facility I.D. No. 48413 Dear Licensee: This is with respect to the October 24, 2012 Order to Show Cause released by the Video Division.1 The Order instructed Convergence Entertainment and Communications, LLC (“Convergence”) to show cause why its authorization for Class A television station W17CI should not be modified to a low power television station, citing Convergence’s failure to respond to two letters of inquiry concerning late-filed Children’s Television Programming Reports. On December 13, 2012, Convergence timely responded to the Order to Show Cause. We find that Convergence responded adequately to staff concerns regarding its failure to respond to the two previous letters of inquiry. We further find that Convergence’s admitted failure to timely file its Children’s Television Programming Reports was addressed in a Notice of Apparent Liability for Forfeiture issued on July 18, 2013,2 and that modification of station W17CI’s license pursuant to Section 316(a) of the Act would not be in the public interest. ACCORDINGLY, the Order to Show Cause proceeding IS TERMINATED. Sincerely, Barbara A. Kreisman Chief, Video Division Media Bureau cc: Mark B. Denbo 1 Convergence Entertainment and Communications, LLC, Order to Show Cause, 27 FCC Rcd 13343 (Vid Div.
