On October 3, 2012, the Federal Communications Commission (Commission) announced the 795 winning bids and associated winning bidders for Mobility Fund Phase 1 support in Auction 901, and established the deadline for winning bidders to submit their long-form applications. 1 For each of the winning bids identified in Attachment A, the Bureaus have reviewed the long-form application information, including the letter of credit (LOC) and Bankruptcy Code opinion letter from the winning bidder’s legal counsel. Based on the representations and certifications in each relevant long-form application, the Bureaus authorize support for the winning bids listed in Attachment A. One of the winning bidders for which support is authorized as listed on Attachment A has defaulted on its remaining winning bids. Attachment B of this Public Notice identifies the defaulted bids of this winning bidder. Support is not authorized for these defaulted bids. 2 Upon issuance of this public notice, the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) is directed and authorized to obligate and disburse from the Universal Service Fund (USF) the amounts identified in Attachment A (net of any applicable auction default payment identified in Attachment B) to the winning bidder associated with each study area specified in Attachment A.
