S2873SAT-PPL-20131120-00137 E Effective Date: 12/24/2013Grant of Authority Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List Satelites Mexicanos S. A. de C. V. Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On November 20, 2013, Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. notified the Commission, pursuant to Section 25.137(g) of the Commission's rules, of a planned transfer of control. Satélites Mexicanos states that its control will be transferred to Eutelsat S.A. The notification of planned transfer was placed on Public Notice on November 22, 2013. See Public Notice, Report No. SAT-00981. The Commission did not receive any comments. After review, the Satellite Division has determined that the planned transfer of control of Satélites Mexicanos will not affect any of the considerations made when the Mexican-licensed Satmex 5 (S2589), Satmex 6 (S2695), and Satmex 8 (S2873) satellites were initially granted U.S. market access. INFORMATIVE S2912SAT-LOA-20130626-00087 Planet Labs Inc. On December 24, 2013, the Satellite Division determined that Planet Labs Inc. met the first three milestone conditions in its license for a constellation of 28 non-geostationary-orbit Earth Exploration Satellite Service space stations. Consequently, as provided in 47 C.F.R. § 25.165(d), Planet Labs may reduce the amount of the bond to be filed pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 25.165 from $5 million to $2 million. Page 2 of 2
