On December 20, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the petition of Hispasat S.A. for a declaratory ruling to add the
Amazonas-1 space station at the 36° W.L. orbital location to the Commission's Permitted Space Station List in the 11.7-12.2 GHz
(space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands and to access the U.S.market via Amazonas-1 at 36° W.L. in the
13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency band.

Petition for Declaratory Ruling to be Added to the Permitted List
Satelites Mexicanos S.  A. de C. V.
Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service
On November 20, 2013, Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. notified the Commission, pursuant to Section 25.137(g) of the Commission's rules, of
a planned transfer of control.  Satélites Mexicanos states that its control will be transferred to Eutelsat S.A.  The notification of planned transfer
was placed on Public Notice on November 22, 2013.  See Public Notice, Report No. SAT-00981.  The Commission did not receive any
comments.
After review, the Satellite Division has determined that the planned transfer of control of Satélites Mexicanos will not affect any of the
considerations made when the Mexican-licensed Satmex 5 (S2589), Satmex 6 (S2695), and Satmex 8 (S2873) satellites were initially granted
U.S. market access.  See Protocol Concerning the Transmission and Reception of Signals from Satellites for the Provision of Direct-to-Home
Satellite Services in the United States of America and the United Mexican States, November 8, 1996.  Upon receipt of notice of consummation
of the transaction, the Permitted Space Station List will be updated to provide information concerning the transfer of control.

On December 24, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 74
days, to continue to operate the communications payload of the Galaxy 26 space station at the 50.0º E.L. orbital location in the 11.7-12.2 GHz
(space-to-Earth) frequency band.

EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation
On December 24, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to EchoStar Satellite Operating Corporation,
for a period of 180 days, to continue to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain the EchoStar 3 Direct
Broadcast Satellite space station as an in-orbit spare at the 61.8º W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 12.201 GHz,
12.203 GHz, and 12.699 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 17.3015 GHz (Earth-to-space).

Special Temporary Authority
Iridium Constellation LLC
On December 24, 2013, the Satellite Division granted special temporary authority to Iridium Constellation LLC, for a period of 180 days, to
operate six space stations in its non-geostationary orbit constellation in a manner consistent with a revised post-mission disposal plan proposed
in the pending license-modification application in IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20080701-00140.

S2912SAT-LOA-20130626-00087 Planet Labs Inc.
On December 24, 2013, the Satellite Division determined that Planet Labs Inc. met the first three milestone conditions in its license for a
constellation of 28 non-geostationary-orbit Earth Exploration Satellite Service space stations.  Consequently, as provided in 47 C.F.R. §
25.165(d), Planet Labs may reduce the amount of the bond to be filed pursuant to 47 C.F.R. § 25.165 from $5 million to $2 million.
