On March 22, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of SES Americom, Inc. to modify the authorization for its
AMC-16 space station at the 85° W.L. orbital location.  The grant authorized SES Americom to reorient the spot beams on the AMC-16 space
station in the 18.6-18.8 GHz (space-to-Earth), 19.7-20.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 28.4-28.6 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 29.5-30.0 GHz
(Earth-to-space) frequency bands, such that while the 10 spot beams still provide coverage of the continental United States, each beam has a
different coverage area than previously authorized.

Nature of Service: Direct-to-Home Fixed Satellite Service, Fixed Satellite Service
On March 22, 2013, the Satellite Policy Branch granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to SES Americom, Inc., for a period of 60
days, to: (1) conduct telemetry, tracking and command operations necessary to drift the AMC-2 space station from the 19.2° E.L. orbital location
to the 80.85° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 3700.5 MHz and 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth); and 6423.5 MHz
(Earth-to-space); (2)  maintain AMC-2 at 80.85° W.L. with an east-west station keeping volume of +/- 0.15 degrees using the same center
frequencies and to provide Fixed-Satellite Service at the 80.85° W.L. orbital location using the 3700-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth), 5925-6425
MHz (Earth-to-space), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands; and (3) provide Direct-to-Home
Fixed-Satellite Service via AMC-2 at 80.85° W.L. in the 11.7-12.2 GHz band.
