Nature of Service: Direct to Home Fixed Satellite, Fixed Satellite Service
On April 18, 2013, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the application of DIRECTV Enterprises LLC to construct, launch, and operate
a geostationary orbit space station, to be known as DIRECTV KU-76W, at the 76.0° W.L. orbital location.  DIRECTV is authorized to provide
Fixed-Satellite Service, including direct-to-home service, using the 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space)
frequency bands.  The grant also authorizes DIRECTV to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to maintain DIRECTV
KU-76W at the 76.0° W.L. orbital location using the following center frequencies: 11.704 GHz and 11.705 GHz (space-to-Earth); and 14.005 and
14.495 GHz (Earth-to-space).
