S2887SAT-LOA-20121025-00187 E Effective Date: 08/14/2014Grant of Authority Launch and Operating Authority Intelsat License LLC Nature of Service: Fixed Satellite Service On August 14, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Intelsat License LLC, as amended, for authority to construct, launch, and operate a C- and Ku-band geostationary orbit space station, to be known as Intelsat 30, at the 95.05º W.L. orbital location. Intelsat is authorized to operate Intelsat 30 at the 95.05º W.L. orbital location to provide Fixed-Satellite Services (FSS) in the 3400-3700 MHz (space-to-Earth), 6425-6675 MHz (Earth-to-space), 6675-6725 MHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.45-11.7 GHz (space-to-Earth), 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), 13.75-14.0 GHz (Earth-to-space), and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands. Nature of Service: Earth Exploration Satellite Service On August 11, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Planet Labs, Inc. to extend by an additional 30 days, from August 18, 2014 until September 18, 2014, the deadline to file a $5,000,000 bond in connection with the Flock 1b and Flock 1c earth exploration satellite service constellations. See IBFS File No. SAT-MOD-20140321-00032 (granted June 18, 2014). Planet Labs confirms that the Flock 1c satellites were launched on June 19, 2014, and are operating pursuant to the terms of its authorization. The Flock 1b satellites were launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on July 13, 2014. The Flock 1b satellites will be deployed from the ISS between August 11, 2014 and September 5, 2014.
