(Inmarsat) 1101 Connecticut Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20034 The application requests Commission consent to the assignment of U.S. Accounting Authority Identification Code (AAIC) US06 from Globe Wireless, LLC (Globe) to Inmarsat. Inmarsat plc is the ultimate corporate parent of Inmarsat, as well as Stratos Mobile Networks, currently holding AAIC US09. In connection with the application, pursuant to sections 0.457 and 0.459 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.457 and 0.459, Globe and Inmarsat jointly request confidential treatment of the application and certain supporting documents. Interested parties are invited to file informal public comment on the qualifications of this applicant as an accounting authority, subject to the safeguards of the Protective Order.1 In addition, we seek comment on the issues of interpretation and waiver of section 3.22 of the Commission’s rules as presented in the application, as well as any other rule interpretations or conditions that the Commission should take into account in addressing the application.
