Specifically, DIRECTV is authorized to reorient DIRECTV 5 to the East to improve signal strength and availability in Puerto Rico. S2469SAT-STA-20140212-00022 E Effective Date: 02/14/2014Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Intelsat License LLC On February 14, 2014, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, special temporary authority to Intelsat License LLC, for a period of 30 days, to perform telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to drift the Galaxy 26 space station from the 50.0º E.L. orbital location to the 49.9° E.L. orbital location, and to maintain Galaxy 26 upon its arrival at the 49.9° E.L. orbital location, using the following C-band frequencies: 4090.0 MHz and 4196.5 MHz or 4199.5 MHz (space-to-Earth); 5926.5 MHz, 6315.0 MHz, and 6411.0 MHz (Earth-to-space). Intelsat is also authorized to operate the Galaxy 26 space station, both during the drift and upon arrival at the 49.9° W.L. orbital location, to provide fixed-satellite services in the Ku-band frequencies of 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) and 14.0-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space).
