FEE DECISIONS OF THE MANAGING
DIRECTOR AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC
The Managing Director is responsible for fee decisions 
in response to requests for waiver or deferral of fees as 
well as other pleadings associated with the fee 
collection process. Typically, these responses to 
individuals are not published in the FCC Record; 
instead, they are mailed or delivered by electronic 
means and they are effective the date of the document 
(47 C.F.R. §§ 1.4(b), 1.104). Moreover, under 47 
C.F.R. § 0.445 (a) & (e), these decisions may not be 
relied upon, used or cited as precedent, except against 
persons who have actual notice of the document in 
question or by such persons against the Commission. 
The decisions are placed in General Docket 86-285 and 
are available for public inspection.
