The Phase I Challenge Resolution Order permitted carriers that made conditional elections to modify their elections, identifying additional locations in census blocks that were previously authorized.1 AT&T2 and Windstream3 chose to modify their elections. The Bureau authorizes $5,248,300 in additional Phase I incremental support for AT&T in exchange for AT&T’s commitment to deploy broadband-capable infrastructure to 6,772 additional locations. The Bureau also authorizes $11,465,575 in additional Phase I incremental support for Windstream in exchange for Windstream’s commitment to deploy to an additional 13,273 locations.4 The Bureau directs the Universal Service Administrative Company to distribute this authorized funding as set forth in the Attachment to this Public Notice.
