RULEMAKING IN THE E911 LOCATION ACCURACY PROCEEDING

On February 20, 2014, the Federal Communications Commission adopted a Third Further Notice 
of Proposed Rulemaking in the E911 Location Accuracy proceeding (Third Further Notice).1 The Third 
Further Notice set deadlines for filing comments and reply comments at 45 and 75 days after publication 
in the Federal Register.
On March 28, 2014, a summary of the Third Further Notice appeared in the Federal Register.2  
Accordingly, comments will be due on or before May 12, 2014, and reply comments will be due on or 
before June 11, 2014. The Third Further Notice sets forth the comment filing instructions.
