AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES TO COMCAST CORPORATION HAVE BEEN FILED AND PERMIT-BUT-DISCLOSE EX PARTE PROCEDURES NOW APPLY MB Docket No. 14-57 On April 8, 2014, Comcast Corp. (“Comcast”) and Time Warner Cable Inc. (“Time Warner Cable”) filed applications seeking Commission approval to transfer of control of the licenses and authorizations held by Time Warner Cable and its wholly-owned and controlled subsidiaries to Comcast. We note that the applications have not yet been accepted for filing. When they are, we will issue a separate public notice announcing that fact and setting forth a pleading schedule. Pursuant to section 1.1200(a) of the Commission’s rules,1 the Commission may in its discretion modify the ex parte procedures in particular proceedings if the public interest so requires. We announce that these applications will be governed by the permit-but-disclose ex parte procedures that are applicable to non-restricted proceedings under section 1.1206 of the Commission’s rules.2 Parties making oral ex parte presentations are reminded that they must file notices of the presentations which must contain, with regard to material already in the written record, either a succinct summary of the matters discussed or a citation to the page or paragraph number in the party’s written submission(s) where the matters discussed can be found, and with regard to any new information, a summary of the new data and arguments presented. Memoranda must contain a summary of the substance of the ex parte presentation and not merely a listing of the subjects discussed. More than a one or two sentence description of the views and arguments presented is generally required.
