Washington, D.C. 20554 News Media Information 202 / 418-0500 Internet: http://www.fcc.gov TTY: 1-888-835-5322 DA 14-548 April 29, 2014 WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUREAU GRANTS H BLOCK (1915-1920 MHZ AND 1995-2000 MHZ) LICENSES Auction No. 96 Report No. AUC-96 (Auction No. 96) On February 27, 2014, the Federal Communications Commission completed an auction of 176 H Block licenses in the 1915-1920 MHz and 1995-2000 MHz bands (Auction 96). 1 This Auction raised a total of $1,564,000,000, with one bidder (American H Block Wireless L.L.C.) winning all 176 licenses. 2 After a preliminary review of the FCC long-form application (FCC Form 601), the application was accepted for filing. 3 Upon further review, we find that the application is complete and conforms to the Commission’s rules. Furthermore, the Commission has received full payment, as required by Section 1.2109(a) of its rules, for the licenses listed in Attachment A. 4 We find that grant of this application will serve the public interest. Accordingly, IT IS ORDERED that, pursuant to Section 309(a) of the Communications Act, as amended, 47 U.S.C. § 309(a), and Sections 0.131 and 0.331 of the Commission’s rules, 47 C.F.R. §§ 0.131, 0.331, the application listed in Attachment A to this Public Notice is GRANTED.
