Nature of Service: Other On August 20, 2015, the Satellite Division granted the request of Satélites Mexicanos, S.A. de C.V. in connection with the provision of radionavigation satellite service using the Satmex 9 space station. Satmex 9 will operate under the authority of Papua New Guinea at the 117° W.L. orbital location. The grant is in connection with use of the following frequencies at two earth stations in the U.S.: the 6628.27-6650.27 MHz, and 6679.42-6701.42 MHz (Earth-to-space) frequency bands for feeder links, the 4198-4198.4 MHz and 4199.6-4200 MHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands for antenna alignment and tracking. S2253SAT-STA-20150505-00033 E Effective Date: 08/20/2015Grant of Authority Special Temporary Authority Intelsat License LLC On August 20, 2015, the Satellite Division granted, with conditions, the request of Intelsat License LLC for special temporary authority, for a period of 180 days, to conduct telemetry, tracking, and command operations necessary to drift the Galaxy 11 space station from the 55.6° W.L. orbital location to the 60.1° E.L. orbital location - and to maintain Galaxy 11 at 60.1° E.L. - using the following center frequencies: 14000.5 MHz, 14498.5 MHz, 11701 MHz, and 11702 MHz. The Division took no action on Intelsat's requests to modify the post-mission disposal plan for Galaxy 11 and to operate Galaxy 11 at 60.1° E.L. using the 13.75-14.5 GHz (Earth-to-space), 10.95-11.2 GHz (space-to-Earth), and 11.7-12.2 GHz (space-to-Earth) frequency bands.
